Baskets

        Baskets are a new offering!  Porcelain baskets are finished with white satin, clear or celadon glaze.  Accent glazes may be used on the top edge and designs may be impressed or brushed on the inside of the basket.  Glazed pots may be hand washed or cleaned in the dishwasher.  Terra cotta baskets are fired with no glaze, thus showing reddish color of the clay.  As with other unglazed pottery, they should be washed in plain water only.  Shapes vary:  round, oval, oblong, square.  Sizes likewise vary from small to large.  Cane handles are added occasionally.   Each basket is unique, individually woven, glazed and decorated.  Pictures are representative.  Please call for baskets currently in stock.
